compare that to the entire UFC 182 buildup. DC talkin shyt to Jon before he was done to Tex, got in a physical confrontation first time they got near each other, shytting on him on live televison etc. He was a completely different person

nothing really I suppose. he humiliated himself, not me. he looked like a fukking idiot back when Hendo played him and he looks like an idiot now. I'm sure Popeyes is winning with the free promo but unless they sponsoring him Daniel is the only loser here. This stunt ain't gonna win him any fans and only made him look even more pathetic than he did crying after that 182 fight.

THere are plenty of fans that like this type of stuff on an innocent level. But there are higher ups that will feel like they 'got' cormier.

i agree you with if you're saying that Cormier isn't completely 'real'

but the reason he was going at it with Jon a lot more is because there issues go a few years back.

also he wasn't the only one to disrespect him pre fight, Patrick Cummins did as well and Cormier was openly pissed and shoved him at the weigh ins.

Mir was making some arrogant comments as well and Cormier got kindof pissed and caled him on his bs.

It's even more understandable if it's a major fight (like a championship fight). In Cormier's case, he's probably been working toward becoming a world champion the moment he decided to become an MMA fighter. All those years of hard work, pain, and struggle just to come up short. It's an emotional time. For some of these guys, they've been working toward this goal their whole lives. It's hard to imagine how they feel.

I can't imagine what he went through. Making the Olympics is an amazing accomplishment in it self though.
