DJ and GSP are most likely goat contenders. DC's name now enters that conversation off his accomplishments in dual weight classes.
For reference, Jon J is questionable but has only ever lost from a 6-12 elbow DQ which shouldve been a no content, NOT a decision or KO/Submit. IMO Gustafson has come the closest. DC still has on record a loss to Bones even if he was flagged shortly after it was not in competition or before and therefore will not change the outcome of the record.
I still prefer Jones, but unfortunately an asterisk will be attached to his name in the GOAT conversation. I am not silly enough to think multiple active fighters AND legends (Silva) aren't juicing tho.
UFC made me sick af with that WWE script Brock got Dana and DC to agree to so he could jump ahead of all the other HW who deserve a shot. Giving brock an instant title shot after pissing hot against hunt and losing before to Velasquez is faux af.. and true fans of MMA dont dig it. Thats just to sell paperviews to rookie viewers..
