I have a hard time believing Bryan's match announced 2 weeks before the show made much of a dent on a show in a 70K seat stadium that was 95% sold out months ago, but if people want to credit him to selling out the Superdome in a last minute tag match, have at it. That also means you have to give King Neckbeard and the cab driver credit as well.

Is 95% a confirmed number?

No, but it was more that the point was WM sells most of its tickets the day they go on sale, 6 months before anything is ever announced. To act like one guy sold the show out with a last minute match announced 2 weeks before the event is silliness. No one is going to give Taker/Cena credit for selling out the show when a few more tickets after it is announced Monday. And it probably won't, because most of what is left is $800-4000 floor seats, which most wrestling fans don't have to buy last second without even including hotels or travel expenses. But say another 1000 of those seats go Tuesday, no one is going to give Taker/Cena credit for selling out the show, just like its silly to give any one guy or one match credit for selling out the show that sells most of its tickets 6 months in advance every year.

Wrestlemania is the draw. Unless people are ready to give Roman credit for selling out Jerry World now.
