but that means...
:GOINGOVER:
My theory is this is a worked shoot, with Mizark going at Cena now, they D Bryan vs HHH could take place at summerslam with HHH having to retire if he loses or give up his place in the company to listen to Vince and Steph and stay in the background for now, HHH could say he could easily beat Bryan and he will put his career on the line, HBKGOAT could come appear and say that he trained him and that DB is even better than him and that Hunter has no chance to win, he ask if HBK will be in his corner again but instead Vince makes him the special ref, since he has a connection with both men, his friend and his student. Match happens and DB destroys him, since the match has stips like no dq, or no holds barred, DB has the yes lock on HHH and he refuses to tap, passing out and loses his in ring status and has to become an executive, he could blame HBK for it and say at mania time he has to prove himself with 1 last match against the man he is always compared to.
Bryan is facing Cena at Summerslam and winning MITB bro
so Mark Henry is just a 1 stop deal? Cena going to bury him if that is the case.
- The initial plans called for Daniel Bryan to face John Cena for the WWE Title at both Money in the Bank and SummerSlam this year. Those plans have changed as the WWE ran the Mark Henry "fake retirement" on Raw. The new talk is that Bryan will be part of the MITB match at the PPV, win the match and then cash in for a shot at Cena and the world title at Summerslam.

Aren't the producers and road agents supposed to handle that? I didn't think HHH was THAT hands on where he's calling matches non kayfabe.
Thought the exact same. Can only assume that Haitch saw the perfect opportunity to slot himself into what will probably be the storyline of the summer - so that by Fall he can kill all of Bryan's momentum. "I sent the text to myself to stop the match!"
