I think Michaels may have had something to do with the his real push

There you have it then. Someone's finally fukking learning.

Easy does it breh I'm ribbing you about the indy stuff.

Let's not even get into Punk being a die hard HBK stan as a kid. That's another thread :smugfavre:

But then I think Michael's has his reasons for probably not getting him a push too. His rep was at stake. Like when Spanky got a huge push when he debuted then failed. Then he got re-pushed, as the Brian Kendrick (booked JUST like Michaels by the way) and then he failed.

off topic, but i don't think TBK failed ... it was more so due to him not giving a fukk rather than him not being over/not having the ability to succeed ... unless that is what you meant, then my bad it's late here :leostare:

we cool

Batista did shyt on the decision to make him WHC though, made me question whether it was a smaller decision that was not Vince's idea but he agreed with after convincing.

I do remember reading after his first match against Jericho on NXT that Vince said "We made a star tonight" but then he soured on him according to Observer radio I heard. Then he got a big push.

Well, I think Brian did really well with it, and I know he was watching a ton of Michaels when he got Diesel and how" he did whatever the fukk he wanted because he had backup angle." That was a good period for Michaels too.

Kendrick did give a fukk on stage, backstage he just kept getting popped for Marijuana and they came to him and were like come on man and he was like "just fine me." They even raised the fines from $1,000 to $2,500 for every positive test (which still stands today) because of Kendrick but he still just kept paying and kept it moving.

I don't buy the whole Batista doesn't dig Bryan thing. He worked with him and made him look pretty good IIRC. I think Batista was pulling a Nash at the time "Take shots at the top guys"

All I know is that the dirt sheets said Shawn complained about Bryan being fired (which Shawn actually denied on twitter, but then again he's spent a career trolling the sheets), but he did go out of his way to congratulate Bryan on several occassions for different accomplishments on twitter. Which he NEVER does. Shawn is notorious for not giving two shyts bout wrestling when he tweets. He's put over Bryan more than anyone on there, Punk and Ziggler to much lesser extents.

It's whatever tho, let's just enjoy D-Bry being more entertaining than Punk :takedat:

I was just going to say that lol, but I think Michaels hates people knowing shyt about the buisness and keeps it quiet. I can't really remember anything in the last 10 years or so that I can say I heard from Shawn Michaels in an interview. Not that I listen to them, but if he said anything relevant or stood bout the biz it would have been linked in the sheets.

To be real, Michaels probably did complain about Bryan being released, but they were probably like "He will serve out his 90 days and be-rehired so don't get worked up" so when asked about it, he can say he didn't and not even lie. Plausible deniability. Bryan didn't even miss a paycheck in that time period lol.

Punk does suck though. He just got shytted on by Cena something fierce and had no response. His character is just boring, I don't even know what he is doing right now. He just wants respect out of people? That's what it is? Why does he need it? He is the champ.

At least we know Bryan's is crazy and says he can make people tap out. Punk just yells out Best in the World like 90 times.

A recent Nash interview leads me to believe that Shawn would probably want to be paid to put his 2 cents in on the product. Only time I remember he live tweeted was during Royal Rumble 11, and that was obviously due to Nash return. However he did put over Bryan and Punk there when they started the Rumble. Other than that I've never seen him tweet about WWE shows. Basically I don't think he's gonna be Lance Storm and analyze this shyt for free.

I just think Bryan has way more charisma than Punk, but he doesn't have the 5 straight years of top notch booking that Punk has. He does have 2 years of it though, gotta see where it goes
