Nobody was "mad" at Reigns for getting Bryan's push.

People were mad that Reigns was being pushed instead of the 20 more deserving wrestlers at the time and Bryan & CM Punk were just the tipping point.

Had they pushed Rollins or Ambrose or Wyatt instead of Bryan, there wouldn't have been anywhere near the outrage

If they'd kept him from wrestling I think he'd have left. Not now though. I don't see why he'd leave now unless WWE wants him to work a full schedule and he doesn't want to.

I think his contract issue will be part of his Summerslam match with Miz, like Bryan has to put his career on the line for Miz to accept his challenge or something. So DB is trying to pull a Jericho so people can speculate about his future while keeping Dave - whom Bryan has been a source for before a number of times - in the dark.
