There's even a difference between American Black English Speakers and "british colony" black english speakers.
They have more in common with Spanish black "mixed with white" people due to the European Colonial HYPERdescent system present in The Caribbean, Africa, and Latin America.

Here in America we don't have these intricate racial categories. If you have any visible or known black ancestry then you are black. Remember race is a social construct. There is no reality to it genetically.

I already knew they have a different way of categorizing mixed folks in other countries. Just didn't know this silly term. Nonetheless, what's its relevance to us? We're here in America not in the DR. Maybe if we lived in the DR, their concept of race would apply. But here in America, our concept of race applies. Its why she and other dominincans view themselves as black because in America the dominicans who are mixed are treated as black.

So it doesn't matter if a dominican for example doesn't view themselves as black based on the culture they came from. Once they step foot in America they get treated as black because that is the category they will be placed in.

Race isn't something we choose. Its placed on us by others. Mainly based on how we look. Thus if you look black, you will be treated black regardless of if you are ados, Gambian (like Diallo), or dominican (like say David Ortiz).

wrong, for one alot of people here get some form of mistreatment here if they arent or dont look white but its nothing to the levels we get. So that doesnt warrant some black/ados pass they should get

Maybe ya'll are seeing different tweets but from what I saw 20% of the total DNA was missing. We have no idea if that missing DNA includes more African countries.
