Cavs had them figured out which is why they got Durant. All you had to do was double/trap Curry on offense with guards/wing players and also have a mobile big who could switch out. Another key was to attack Curry on offense. Cavs did all of these things to highest degree but once KD got there, that plan went out the window. You now had to either double curry and let Durant go 1 on 1 or double Durant and let Curry bomb away from 3.

This is false, the reason this looked like it worked is because Harrison Barnes
He went 5-30 in the last 3 games which allowed the Cavs to double Steph relentlessly. Barnes never made em pay. All the Warriors needed was a capable SF. They obviously was pissed so they went and grabbed the best one in the game

Yeah, the Rockets have given them the most trouble during this run. But I feel like if their guys moved a little bit more to find the best shot instead of just straight scoring. They have two elite playmakers in CP3 and Harden but its easier to defend if you just iso and dish or iso and score.

I don't think it's even their offensive scheme. That team is offensively challenged beyond repair. Like, you don't wanna see anybody but CP3 or Harden or Gordon dribble.

The Warriors ball movement don't hurt teams that can switch and track them because the Warriors ball movement don't spring multiple guys open.

I think the Rockets system is superior if you are starting a team with average to bad guys.

The issue with Rockets IMO, they have really bad forwards and C's. Gerald Green is bad. Daniel House is bad. Gary Clark is bad. Clint Capella is just an defensive energy big, they overpaid him.

When the Rockets had Trevor Ariza and LBM. They had smart players that could defend and shoot the corner 3. They had no talent outside if that.

Even though Draymond and Dre aren't scorers, they have a lot of offensive responsibility. Even their C's Looney and Bell have small playmaking duties.

In the Rockets system, if a player aint handling the ball they are spacing the floor, I think you need to have a bunch of guys that can defend and get their own shot, so you can always get a mismatch.

I think if they has a two Caris Leverts or Josh Richardsons off the bench or starting GSW couldn't guard them.

Rockets stupidly spent their money on a PG and a C when the reason they lose is because their forwards have limited ability.

Even Mckinnie is like one of the Warriors best per minute rebounder at the F spot. The Rockets really need a stretch 5 that can defend the rim with their play style.

Cavs couldn't figure out the Warriors. They were the beneficiary when the league suspended Draymond and Bogut's injury left a hole in the Warriors starting line-up.

Damn, yeah I agree with all of this. Yeah they do have guys that just play D and hit the corner 3 like the Tucker's and Green's but can't get their own shot like that. They def could use more playmakers.

LOL @ bringing up bogut. All he did was provide illegal screens. Plus are we gonna forget that the only reason the warriors won the tile the year prior was because Kyrie only played 1 game while Love missed the entire series?

draymond missed 1 game of the 7. 3 of the 4 losses, Draymond played. Draymond missed game 5. The next game he came back, lebron dropped 41 on his head:mjgrin:
