I don't think it happens...

For once Haymon would make himself look like a fraud if he who was always known as the guy who pays his fighters well would sell PBC to the UFC who are known for the opposite of that (among other things of course).

For twice it seems to me that there's a cult around Haymon among his fighters and seemingly they turn down better deals just because of Haymon is telling them to do so. If UFC would buy PBC and they would start to pay these dudes less they would just go to ESPN and DAZN, Dana White wouldn't hold them back.
If UFC wants to make a dent in boxing they gotta spend more on fighters' purses than they are paying in the UFC but if they would do that they would have to raise the pays in the UFC too otherwise there would be a riot there. So they gotta raise the pays everywhere or nowhere, otherwise, they would further alienate their UFC roster.
and there lies the genius of al haymon. He can't really be a fraud becquse he has never publically made any claims. Anything we say about him is assumptions based on hearsay. At the end of the day, he's just a business man and owes nothing to anyone.

Apparently Dana said he won't recongnize the sanctioning bodies, so he might try create his own belts. Will be a hard task if others don't play ball. Everyone won't be under his umbrella so it isn't gonna be easy.

Nah I didn’t use it as a legal tern. He wouldn’t get to court or anything.

Gotta love how in this interview he first talks about solving “boxing’s problem” then goes on to say he wouldn’t work with 2 out of the 4 top promoters because of personal beef. Yeah that sounds like someone who came to solve problems lol. Same old shyt.
I’m cool with not acknowledging the alphabet titles but he wouldn’t be in the position to replace them with anything more meaningful, his belt would be less meaningful, especially if only his fighters could win it. What fighter would sign to him...?

I think the UFC ESPN deal would be independent from any deal PBC has with FOX because the parent company would be 5he ones buying PBC.

PBC also have Pac who's getting old as well, Thurman, Porter.

They pretty much own the welterweight division but overall i agree that they are far from a monopoly in boxing.
Right, forgot about Pac but I don’t even really count with him, he will retire in 1-2 years imo, would be surprised if not. As of now he counts though. Don’t know about Thurman and Porter, both are better known names but they don’t have that superstar possibility as the others who were mentioned. Thurman is china, he injures himself very often plus it seems he slipped and that he lost hunger, he just lost to 40yrs old Pac. Porter is as tough as they come but ain’t close to a household star.

Exactly, it's just posturing, for all the far fetched positives associated with someone 'unifying' the sport of boxing there's an equal amount of negatives.

White has been finessing fighters in UFC his entire career, he's no better than any shoddy promotor in boxing. Case in point is McGregor asking for a larger share to fight again, it never happened.

The UFC is a totalitarian organisation, each boxing promotor (Hearn, Arum, Di Bella, PBC) is effectively a running, similar model, but more malleable to negotiation and variance.

Hey bro something has to be done, the whole business model of boxing is broken that is just a fact. We should of never had to wait 5 years for Mayweather-Pacquiao. Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua should of fought last year. Spence and Bud shouldn't have to 'get the business right' before a fight happens. Why not have a Canelo-GGG 3 fight, it's a big money fight and it would be good for the sport.

Boxing has become a political dikk swinging contest between all these promotions amd their fukking egos and only the fans suffer because of it. Low key I been tired of it and something should of been done about it a long time ago. If Dana has to come in and whip these mufukkas into shape then so be it. These nikkas get paid millions of dollars to NOT fight the fights we want, fukk they paycheck they need to start doing something to earn it.
No top boxer will ever sign with zuffa, or w.e company is that's owns the UFC

Zuffa boxing will be mid tier trash boxers and crossover ufc fighters. They are already talking nonsense about a Nunes/shields fight

This would be terrible for fighters and fans. Have you've seen how the UFC has been run the last few years?

I'd actually like to see it. Dana will shell out the cash to work with other promotions to get the fights we want, and he will put business first there are way too many big ass egos in boxing.
He would fail because of his big azz ego, nothing would change

I don't even view boxing as a "broken" model. Yeah, it's definitely a frustrating sport from a fans point of view, but it's a sport that provides a lot options.

Yes the flexibility allows a far higher percentage of fighters than the UFC to be able to finesse their careers to maximise earning potential.

Alvarez has signed the type of contract that ‘should’ happen in UFC, but doesn’t.
