You make no sense whatsoever. Dana is no good. She complained on Twitter about getting a chance, she got it in a title match but failed in her promo to get herself and the match over.
Wrestlers are instructed not bury their opponents? Since when?? Braun buried EC3. No way Jose is buried. Bayley is buried. Alexa beat her clean in 2 minutes with a damn slap. Iconics have been buried since winning the women’s tag title.
If Vince wants you buried, you buried. You acting like Sam fukking Roberts went into business for himself and just decided to start shooting . That’s being a mark and thinking it wasn’t scripted.
Brehs, listen to ANY old school wrestler, and they'll tell you that one of the basic rules of a promo is to get yourself over without burying the other guy. Otherwise, it's not an accomplishment to beat them.
The same thing applies to commentary. Get your jokes off, but never imply that the talent isn't worthy of being there. Because when you eventually try to do something with them, the audience doesn't care. Most of these heel commentators are trying so hard to be Bobby Heenan, but they completely overlook the fact that he rarely, if ever, actually shyt on a face. Breh spent literal decades getting at Hulk Hogan, and his shtick was basically "Hogan's not the saint you think he is", and that shyt WORKED. You can play heel commentator without belittling the talent.
And the bolded part up above? That's part of the fukking problem. No promoter should be out here just saying fukk it, and burying their talent on air the way that happened. You out here talking about shytty booking like that's supposed to justify some corny shyt like this. Nah, man. That, along with commentary doing a shytty job of getting faces and heels over as such are part of why no one cares about anything. Their whole presentation is fukked up. And it's primarily because a 73 year old man has a deathgrip on creative.
And I wasn't implying that he went off script or something, I just said he was trying too hard to play the heel. Two different things.
