Lets not be disingenuous and make it like posters weren't saying the same thing and you can disagree with Damon Wayans without diminishing him and his influence.

I like Dave and understand what he is doing and where is coming from but he isn't at the same level as a dikk Gregory or George Carlin the political professor is not a strength of Dave's and its ok to call it out.

Did y’all watch the actual interview with Damon Wayans?

It's a really great interview and it wasn't all about Chapelle, but when Chapelle's name was brought up, he said he hadn't seen the new speech; he gave him his props, said he loves him and he said he respects him. He said as an artist, a person has to has themselves "is it special? or are they (Netflix) taking advantage of the artist because the artist is special."

He said "there is no doubt, Chapelle is the comedian of our generation"

Here's the interview (18:09 mark is where Damon speaks on Chapelle):

He spoke about Dave Chappelles fearlessness compared to his when he was on living color. I must say, Dave is way more fearless now than Damon was on ILC, because Damon's type of comedy was accepted in the 90s. In the PC climate we're in now, and Dave doing what he's doing now, its no comparison.

Here let me do the same shyt you did

Earthquake's first special on Netflix and who the fukk is the first person we see introducing him. Dave

Dave ain't got Joe Rogan performing for the local people of Yellow Springs in corn fields. fukk outta here :camby:

:dead:

These nikkas have an agenda. They took those LGBTQ jokes personal. I watched Dave in Vegas last year and he had Ashy Larry, Roots and Talib open for him.

Then I saw him in Atlanta in December and he had damn near the whole black music scene in Atlanta come out and perform. Usher, T-Pain, Lil John, T.I, Big Boi, Monica etc. He sold out the State Farm Arena and 90% of the crowd was black.

Even my sister’s lesbian friend came out with us that night and she was loving it. That’s how I know it’s just some I’m that community trying to run with a narrative.

Thank you. A whole thread of people arguing about something that wasn't even said. Watched that comedy hype video earlier and none of them actually watched the interview themselves and were just talking. Society is for the dummy's now. Ignorance and controversy is the currency of the day.
