damon got the best catalog above all wayans and he's the funniest. I think Keenen has the best talent for writing tho going from im gonna git u sucka to five heartbeats to lowdown dirty shame to the scary movies and of course in living color

Lets not forget the Black Renaissance that was HBO on Robert Townsend's Partners N Crime and Damon's LL Junebug character. That was such a blessed time for black comedians in the late 80s early 90s.


That show opened the door for Def Comedy Jam and gave everyone on the show stand up specials (One Night Stands). Damon's being one of the best ever IMO.

Another slept on comedian was David Alan Grier. He killed every role he played.

i knew about that show but nvr watched it....thats pretty dope. I wish comedians were as good as they were back then now. We have no heavyweights in this generation

90s sitcoms were golden, back when you had no access to porn watching them was a good substitute until you found out showtime and cinemax offered a very good alternative, these are some of my favourites

I remember when FOX gave Damon his own show. It was called simply "Damon" and he was a cop/detective. It was funny but didn't make it a full season.



This was around the time when all the Wayans were on network tv with Kim on "In The House" and Shawn/Marlon with their show on WB. I think Keenan was doing some writing/producing for another show at the time too.
