Exactly....I spent 1000 in Vegas and I'm like...fukk it..I'll make that shyt back in one or two checks (bilsl makes it two checks lol)

ive recently got into this mindset. i dont have a job currently (on unemployment) got laid off few weeks ago but i havent lost a second of sleep over it. the old me would be stressing out everyday but the new me is like . i know ill be back on my feet soon but for now ima chill and be stress free collecting these checks every week. like OP said ima die one day anyway. no need to stress over every little thing. my new fav saying these days is "fukk it"

i feel you....idk if you know..but when i changed jobs last spring, i was super stressed and depressed, it is well documented on the coli via threads lol.....i dont fear being laid off anymore....just bounce back and realize that NOTHING is promised and make lasting memories...
that change made me realize that this cookie cutter life is for the birds...so i just save up and been traveling when i can and doing new stuff even if it is normal to most people like hiking, tubing, etc
that bar and club every weekend is wack and what i spent on that could have been a flight so that's what i do now

I almost died in a car accident in January. And a few weeks ago a lady at my church died in front of me. All this I'll travel when I'm old and retired, or I'll do this or do that later when your not even guaranteed it.

my mom was 47 and died......stressing over money
I'm not going out like that....i might die before 30 so im living for me in my 20s
all i care about is living comfortably and not in too much debt and staying healthy (failing at that smh)
but man...be happy...that's all that matters in the long run tbh

I'm 25. i have savings account and 401k....im not being irresponsible..because im still spending wisely..still moving up in my career...and making more money with each job. im just not partying at local bars or blowing money on expesnive shyt i dont need.
