Wade is already the 3rd best sq of ALL TIME and will only be adding more to his legecy
Yeah, if you started watching basketball in 2005.
The guy who stands for the NBA logo and Iceman were pretty good in their day. Oh, and they peaked for a lot longer than D-Whistle, as well.
Also, NBA has never been a SGs game, so it's a weak argument to use to say that a guy was "top 5" or "top 10" SG in the game. NBA titles are almost always dictated by big men, so to be a great SG is overrated. You could argue James Harden is the best SG in the game today. Don't mean shyt, really. We've seen 2 or 3 SGs that were able to actually carry the burden of being the best player on their team for multiple championships in a short period of time, and Wade doesn't fit that bill. Is he better than Vince? Of course. But don't talk about him like he's some guy who's been killing cats for a decade, winning MVPs, putting the team on his back, revolutionizing how the position is viewed/played, and having any sort of long-lasting impact for generations to come.
Plus, other than Heat fans, I'm not so sure people would take a 6-year-prime, injury-riddled Wade over guys with serious resumes and longevity like Drexler, Ray Allen, Allen Iverson (almost the same type of player - high volume shooter who can put up 30 points, but needs 20+ shots to do it) or Reggie Miller. You definitely could argue that Wade is better, but he's not exactly running away with it...
