This is the Gunn-verse courtesy of James Gunn who meddled with every movie since he took over including eliminating cameos from Henry Cavill and not surprisingly it flopped hard. Because the Snyder fans are deliberately punishing Gunn for what he did.

Now the Rock tried to re-start the Snyderverse by bringing Cavill back and Zaslav/James Gunn said nope we want to put all our money on the weirdo menace and the movie they put everything on cratered

And after all the trash WB et al talked it turns out that Black Adam made more money than Shazam 2 and the Flash even though Black Adam didn't get a China release though the Flash did.
