The family of Jack Lamar Roberson, 43, is disputing statements made by Waycross Police on how he was shot and killed during a police shooting Friday.

“He didn’t have nothing in his hands at any time or period at all before they came, any time while they were here, anything. They just came in and shot him. He didn’t say nothing, the police didn’t say nothing, anything, it was like a silent movie. You couldn’t hear anything, all you could hear were the gun shots go off and I seen them going into his body and he just fell down,” cried Alcia Herron, Roberson’s fiance.

Herron said she called 911 to call an ambulance for Roberson. She said she was worried about medication he took for his diabetes, but instead of paramedics, officers arrived at the home on Reed Street.

The Waycross Police Department said officers responded to the home after [allegedly] receiving a report of an attempted suicide and while en route, they were updated that the man had become combative. The Police Chief Tony Tanner said Roberson lunged at the officers with two items he described as weapons and said Roberson ignored requests to drop the items.

Diane Roberson said her son didn’t have any weapons in his hands.

“If you’re any type of man you’ll come to me and you’ll tell me why you stood up there and told a lie. Two knives? We don’t own two decent knives,” said Roberson’s mother.

Roberson said her son was not aggressive. He is survived by his mother, sisters, fiance and two daughters.

this year has showed me that it's absolutely pointless to call cops for any kind of help/family dispute. i bet they've killed more innocents, than people actually doing bad things. i remember reading at least 5-6 cases where someone called for help, and they shot the same person who called.
then there's the suicide cases, where all they would have to do is taze/shoot some non lethal stuff and instead they offed the person.
i can sit here and list plenty more, but the point is, fukk the cops. get a gun and be prepared to fend for your own self. if it's just a little dispute, cut that shiit down on your own. they're so fukking scared when they step into a situation, they'll shoot anything that moves. they need to start giving these guys better training.

When I was about 17, I went to the chinese store for my older sister. Order was $12.50 for both of us. The little chinese kid working the register () placed an extra zero on the total. It was insanely stupid but, I didn't look at the receipt....I almost never do. This kid charged my sister $125.00 for two orders of chicken wings and rice When my sister saw the receipt, she went fukking POSTAL. She drove back down to the store, wanting her money back. Since it was debit...it's money out of your bank account. Stores are supposed to give you the option of getting your cash back if you want it. Chinese lady wasn't tryna give up the $125.00 her son took out my sister's account She kept talking about it would take 5 business days and everything would clear up. Police were called, my sister was damn near about to stab the lady. Cop got there and was like...."The lady said that you'll get your money back in 5 business days. Now leave. You're causing a ruckus"

ive been in this situation before, it does actually take a couple days for them to change the amount that was originally charged, your sister wanted to stab some innocent woman for no reason, your whole family must be really fukked up.
