Lots of actors and models and singers have lied about their age. Maybe the producers didnt see/know about the movie or didnt recognize her in it. Maybe they did but she lied about the age that she was in the movie. They found out half way during the first season and kept her on apparently.
Honestly the older I get the less I am able to gauge the ages of those younger than me lol.

I like Mila Kunis, she comes across very down to earth, and sensible in her interviews, I don't know what her personal life is like, obviously, and it's always struck me as odd...her relationship with this weirdo, but she didn't seem like a hoe to me, the way others celebs, who are alleged to be promiscuous do, (ie, Rihanna, Kristen Stewart). If she was 14 on that show, testament to her talent. The thing is, they started dating in the early 2000s, where she was probably 16-17, so she wasn't really put on a pedestal by those swagless whiteboys at that time. She wasn't really A List, but just another sitcom actress. She probably grew up watching his movies.

btw, anyone ever seen that Mila Kunis interview where, she explained how when she was moving to America, the first time she saw a black person, she cried.
