Dude is way to cocky for his skill level, he has put out some great songs and tapes, but he is never 100% with it... his projects are usually mediocre to average with some REALLY good songs but he is not consistent with it..and he has had more than enough time

Lupe on the other hand has put out multiple classic albums and shows much better range in lyricism from song structure to storytelling

And a lot of royce raps be about nothing he has no substance...the definition of a lyrical miracle type rapper

Eminem threw him a lifeline ever since proof passed...he comes off so arrogant sometimes I wish Lupe would hop on a track and murder him ...and there are quite a few other MCs that would handle him

Royce is a great Mc but he has to chill out

I definitely recommend their podcast then. It was a little awkward at first, but they eventually get a good flow going. Royce is definitely the more humble of the two. This podcast really shows Lupe's celebrity ego side (he's always gonna remind you that he's Lupe Fiasco) which weirdly makes him seem more human lol

I think if they were actually poding together and had a bit more pre-production, their podcast could go levels

Lupe and Royce don't even really go into any deep technical conversation about rapping, which is what I was kind of looking forward to. But it's still a good listen if you want insight on the more regular, everyday aspect of Lupe and Royce
