LOL. Yes, I can see you can get around a bit faster, but what about stairs?
I used crutches after ACL reconstruction surgery. It was a hassle though. Struggling with opening store doors with five million pound springs attached to them. :wtb:
I kid you not, there was this outdoor shopping mall where the doors had auto-closing springs so they don't stay open to the wind. I could not open the door and walk in. The spring kept on closing it before I could take a step. Yes, it's environmentally and economically good because it doesn't let the cold in and heat out in the winter.

i visited a relative in Manhattan. Old apartment building. NO ELEVATOR. FIVE FLOORS UP. One morning, I walked down to the bottom. It was about a week ago beforehand when my doctor said I didn't need crutches. So, my strength in my weak leg is still less than 50% so I have to take each step one at a time like an old man. Then, I realized I forgot my cell phone... at the bottom. :snoop: I was like, screw it. I don't need to make any calls.

when i was on crutches for 2 months after breaking my leg i would say opening doors was the biggest b!tch of them all. i would never use the scooter though, looks weenie ish
