Starting Spider-Man soon too.
Which spider-man breh:isthatall:

:dahell: You didn't watch that in the 90's with the rest of us????!!!!! That show is how I got introduced to Spider-Man & his world. I STILL remember watching the series premiere "The Lizard" when it originally aired as a sneak peak for the series and I had to be like 6 years old at the time.

Then you watch spectacular

and spider-man unlimited just for fukk sakes
:camby:Waste of time. The only reason folks care about that show is because FOX promoted it as a continuation series to "Spider-Man: TAS". I finally sat down & watched the whole series several years back, IT CLEARLY has nothing to do with "Spider-Man: TAS".

The only thing it does is the brief moment the theme music played. In this book I have though, they planned on having it be that continuation once he got back to earth at the end of the 1st or 2nd season but the show never made it that far

See.. :patrice:
I wasn't so Interested in Peter as a Kid, I liked X-Men and loved TMNT still. It wasn't anything Personal but Spidey just wasn't getting my Attention at the time. I regret it now with realizing that X-Men/Spider-Man had a Crossover Episode. I was :ohhh: but by this time it was far too late to catch Spidey's Series all together.

I might as well Start Spidey now now that you mention it.:manny: Catch Up with X-Men and just watch them back to back.
:ehh:Is Spider-Man Unlimited trash or what?

It's trash but I do like the lead actor voicing Spidey. It has its moments but overall I'd say you can skip it. It's nowhere near as bad as the MTV spider-man show. Spectacular spiderman is the best, followed by the animated series. After that, you can pretty much skip them all unless you just want to have some fun

how is it compared to the OG so far?
MUCH better

It's coincidental that OP started watching it cuz I just finished the series this morning. It's about the 3rd time I've re-watched it and it's still good as hell. Since it's your 1st time viewing I'm a put the rest in spoilers

I really liked how in the end Polaris became just as powerful as Magneto, if not stronger. In the last ep she str8 owned the entire fleet of Sentinels with one magnetic blast, and did it with little effort.

For it to be only 1 season, they cameoed a lot of mutants.

Just like everyone else, I'm pissed I'm never going to see their version of the AOA storyline. Wolverine and the X-Men's version of Days of Future Past played out very well. Even better than the OG cartoon..

I also liked how, like Evolution, they introduced Gambit as a villain first. He was a very crafty person. His cleverness in this series made the notion of Gambit being a king of thieves very legit.

I loved how they animated Multiple Man's duplication.

Emma's breast meats were on point. Didn't think I needed to spoiler that.

KungFu Fighting & kicks that are fast as Lightning
Spectacular spiderman is the best,

the animation and character models on this joint look mad kiddy bruh

Also, Watching Wolverine and The Xmen......right now

I'm digging it but imo the character models in the 1994 series just look better and more like the comic.

They're less "kiddy" looking if that makes any sense, the animation itself may be a bit choppier but the actual art and character models are thousand times better than any of this new stuff

with that being said, the character models and art of the majority of animated shows in the late 80s-mid 90s looks better than the stuff that's out now

example:

Superman series from the late 1980s

Justice League Unlimited

Obviously Justice league Unlimited is the better show but I just simply prefer the art from earlier stuff ...

I have no idea who is the company behind some of the recent animation in these new DC animated films but I'm loving this new anime style alot more than what was done in JLU.

These are the same guys who did Batman Year one and Justice League Flashpoint

I can't speak to the animation because thats a preference but as far as writing actual animation story lines characterization and execution it wins by a landslide. And it creates the whole world of Spider-Man including Gwen Stacy flash Thompson Liz Allen Stacy avril the big man and even does the gang wars. It does stuff that the 90s show wasn't even allowed to do. Plus the animation works for it because it makes the show more fluid and spidey is able to do stuff that he couldn't do with a bigger bulkier build. Plus the head writer is the guy who created gargoyles and young justice breh

I liked what I saw of this. Wasn't it on Disney XD or Jetix or something? I think they fukked around and were always shifting it around on the schedule and I only got to see a handful of episodes.
