Sounds like he's comparing people who defend a man who rubbed cream on his own body to other people who defend a man that looked the other way when a man was rubbing his cream on little boy's bodies.

Ehh, I think what they're actually defending their guy for is kinda irrelevant to the comparison.

I remember reading something where someone was comparing Adam Scott's collapse to the Yankees blowing a 3-0 series lead to the Red Sox and then people come in like ":what: You're comparing baseball to golf? 18 holes vs 9 innings? Clubs vs. bats? Seams vs. dimples?" Etc when the subject of comparison was a person or team blowing a seemingly insurmountable lead, NOT the sports themselves.

I'm a Giants fan and I've always liked Bonds but I have to distance myself from the people that really think Bonds had no idea what he was taking or that the tests were false entirely. The people that defend him that way would jump all over him if he was a Dodger or on some other team they didn't like.

Same idea with Paterno. The only reason people defend him and act like he's innocent is because they're blinded by their fandom of Penn State. If Penn State was squeaky clean and this fukkery was going on at Pitt, the same people sleeping next to Paterno's statue would be trolling the shyt out of them.

Thank you. That is all.

This doesnt really look like a dude on steroids. :ehh:

I know clean dudes who are pretty much that size :skip:

He's not a body builder so steroids won't make him look like Ronnie Coleman, that's not what he used them for.

This muthafukker cheated just like that bytch McGuire and Sosa and Palmero and those pitching hoes like Clemons ams Petite. Why would people still defend the guy?

Barry Bonds defenders are just like the delusional Penn State cult followers who are crying that Joe Paternos statue got took down.

I don't think anybody is gonna deny that Bonds was on something. Honestly who cares if he was or wasn't. Baseball clearly didn't at the time. What is there to defend? He was great before the roids and he was a video game with them and provided us with plenty of entertainment. His nuts are gonna be the ones shrinking not mine. :yeshrug:

That said being in denial over a guy doing roids isn't exactly the same as being in denial for a guy covering up child rape. :smh:

Big difference being that him doing steroids is only gonna affect him negatively going forwards whereas what Paterno did or actually didn't do is going to affect countless people going forward in a much worse way than back acne or shrinking nuts ever could. I get what you are saying about blind fanatacism but the Paterno analogy is too extreme and really takes away from your point.

Bilz got it right, it's not about the crime but the mindset of the supporters. That's as all I was referring to.

There are a group of Bonds supporters who are ride or die, regardless of the facts or evidence. I guarantee you not one of them thinks McGuire or Clemens is innocent, so why do they choose to believe Bonds is?

It's delusional behavior.
