Another Gold Medal
He is one of the few guys that all of TSC likes, I loved his "Madness" WCW run dude was old as hell and his elbow drop was STILL a thing of beauty. I was too young to appreciate his 80s stuff but once I got older and checked it out and was like  you can tell a lot of guys patterned their stuff after him.

Time goes by so fast. My older brother told me the news about Randy's passing, when I was on my way back home. I was truly in shock and disbelief that one of my favorites had passed.

May he continue to rest in peace.

I was lurkin' TSC as usual (hadn't posted in over a year) and seen the Macho Man thread stickied. I was like chiiiiiiiiiill yo :ohhh:

Was just gonna read through the thread and keep it movin', but I had to say my piece on one of my favorites of all time. shyt hit me hard brehs. I shed tears, can't even front.

His match with Flair still is one of my favorite WrestleMania matches of all time.

I wonder why they won't put him in the HOF though, despite bein' on good terms with them before he passed.

According to Lanny Poffo, Macho wanted the whole family to go in, not just himself. I'm sure it'll happen one way or another at some point. Savage is a glaring omission.

Rude needs to be put in too. :birdman:

The Last of the Outlaws
Found out on fb from a friend who doesn't even watch wrestling. Looked online to confirm since I didn't believe it. Felt like a family member passed since I literally grew up watching him. Definetely one of the very few the IWC is uninimously in favor of.

Crazy that it's already been a year tho.

Time flies. Savage was my favorite wrestler of the 80s hands down. vs Flair at WM8 is one of my favorite matches ever. One of the most popular wrestlers ever, his death received mainstream coverage.
RIP to one of wrestling's first superstars, Macho Man. It is a fukking crime he's not in the Hall of Fame. His impact on wrestling will always be felt.
