Im one that tries to take a movie on its own merits rather than compare it to others so I didnt have the expectations a lot of people did as far as living up to the original bourne movies. That said, I thought it was ok, not great but not terrible, maybe a 7 out of 10 at best.

i feel the opposite. i wasn't looking forward to it at all, especially since they didn't have matt damon but instead had the dude out of hurt locker who up to this point i couldnt stand. i checked it just because nothing else was playing and i really enjoyed it. the action was dope, story was cool, the pacing was good, cinematography was on point. i actually liked this more than the last two Bourne flicks.

ultimatum was a step up from supremecy and was a nice way to close out the trilogy, but it didn't move me as much as the first one.

where the trilogy had more complexity leaned more to the thriller side of things, legacy leaned more to the action side, and thats what i enjoyed about it. it was less like an action/thriller and more like a smart action movie.

i found it was more grounded like identity and less like the second two films. granted for me it isn't anywhere near identity, but personally, the second two bourne films weren't near identity either.

im just saying as far as my personal enjoyment, i liked it better than the second two films.

Finally saw this the other day. mediocre at best. Gilroy went overboard with the dialog. They over-explained everything especially in the first hour. Project Outcome, Project Treadstone, project this, project that. slow down with the chatterbox, which one is it?:mindblown:

and why kill off the agents and the scientist? cover being blown and scandals happen all the time in real life. especially since they were your best a brightest- why kill them off. I didn't get that

I thought it was ass. They should have left this series alone. I thought the ending to Ultimatum was the perfect way to close out the series.

Movie had real potential and was looking to be great until about the last 30-45 minutes. It was so cliche and like all the other Bourne movies (those were nice) with them getting the Chinese asset from the other "Treadstone" to hunt him down. They might as well just left the series alone. This movie added nothing to the story and he was no wehre near Jason's level as far as fukking up his superiors. They also did a half ass job trying to tie Ultimatum to this one. Just poor execution all around and boring story telling. I wont recognize this as part of the same story. The first 3 were near classic IMO.
