Honestly, I get Barkley's attitude about it. The championship talking point is an ESPN thing to say who's "better". There's folks out here who probably think Derek Fisher is better than Elgin Baylor because he rode coattails on the Kobe/Shaq squad....or that Draymond is better than Barkely or Malone because he was on the GSW squad.
Ain't nothing wrong with Dame's attitude especially given that he played at Weber State and had to claw his way into the league. Also, Portland is a dope fukking city, those fans are nuts about that squad, and most importantly the fans aren't irrational like Laker fans and new school Warrior fans, and it's an hour flight from his hometown. Jordan was screaming on management to bring in players he wanted before they started winning... Barkley forced his way out to go play with K J.... Hell Bird made Red trade for DJ who was all ready a champion, All Star, All NBA, and All Defense, just to nullify Andrew Toney
