Philly can't even get past the 2nd round w/ that All-Injured center :camby:

Heat Culture :blessed: >>>>>>
Heat Culture gets you one Bubble finals run where two cac rookies play out their mind and a guy who can’t shoot somehow draws 30 FTs a game

Other than that, you get to grind out a bottom seed in the East and a firm pat on the back when you get shut out

After they dropped that game where he went crazy with 50, he had to be like this team really ain't shyt
:mjlol:

Unbelievable that these dude really lost to Denver without Murray
:hhh:
I'll never forget that game. Just no excuse that no one else stepped up. I said then if he requested a trade I wouldn't blame them. I'd hate it but I wouldn't blame him.

That's why I edit package some young players (like Simons) and picks with him.

We need a big man who can actually stay on the floor. Just today they didn't offer Zach Collins a qualifying offer. This is a guy they traded two first-round picks for.

Yal don't need Laurie, and we don't need CJ
:russ:
Both Chicago and Portland need more athletic 2 way players to compliment the offensive forces that they already have.

There isn't a move that makes them better imo. Almost every trade I've seen has CJ involved, and they never get any scoring that equals it in return. They go for Simmons, they get someone who most likely won't develop and is ball-dominant with no shot.

Spacing would become shyt and Lillard wouldn't be able to do shyt in the paint as soon as teams started packing it down there. He'd have to float around the perimeter.

That squad is set in stone. He needs to come to the Heat.

Once we get Lillard, we'll be back :blessed:

Not as recalcitrant as someone like Harden, but it’s damn near impossible to see someone expressing this opinion returning unless they get a top 10 player

Which is why he’s asking for a trade without coming outright and saying it. If we know they can’t get that guy, then surely he does too.

Problem is they don’t have anywhere near the assets to get a top 10 player

Even if they trade CJ and whatever else it’s gonna be a lateral move there not getting a star back

Like bro said above me, he knows theyre capped out

his reputation, and his will to EMBRACE THE GRIND, is such a massive part of his brand, so he gotta do OT to position Portland as the ones that ain’t try to do enough. Which is a half truth, I suppose

yeah he wants out but doesn’t want to come out and say it

he’s a sharp dude he realizes there is no path to contention staying in Portland.

Wheter it’s before the start of the year, trade deadline whatever when it’s basically the same roster sans CJ for another good but flawed player he’s gonna say I wanted to stay but we didn’t improve the team

CJ stepping out of bounds like he's some oof who isn't a perimeter player was damning. Covington missing dunks and shyt like it wasn't Game 5 of a Playoff Series. No recovering from that. Only way they can keep him is if they work magic and retool the roster to prioritize some semblance of defense... which might not even be possible at this point.
CJ dissing greek when the nikka can't even show up against Denver always hilarious to me

I say get Ben Simmons and hope he turns the corner. His stock is low right now.

A straight CJ for Simmons trade works salary wise. But I don't think Darryl Morey will do it. He'll probably wait it out to see if Lillard requests a trade.
