Yup, glad he finally got fed up and pulled the trigger. Ppl gonna get their "rUnNiNg FrOm ThE gRiNd" jokes off for the first week but ain't nobody can blame him after he gave those bozos 10+ years and the best they could do after all this time is literally nothing. Especially since the only reason they even got a top lottery pick this year was because he was nice enough to shut himself down (during his BEST regular season!) so they could tank for it in the first place. Repaying him by not even ATTEMPTING be serious about finding a trade for it is clownshoes behavior.

Imagine if the Nuggets (after they got beat by... wait for it.... Dame and the Blazers!) said "Sorry Joker, we know you're a superstar in your prime... but we can't trade any picks and ever seriously try to get you any more help cause you didn't make the finals. Can't get you Aaron Gordon, can't sign anyone with our MLE like Bruce Brown... it's too risky for us, sorry :manny:". Like you can tank ANY year once Dame's gone, having a player like that on your roster and p*ssying out in the middle of his prime to try and parrot dumbass Bob Meyers "two timelines" BS (that's led to him quitting GS and every young player on their roster besides Kuminga getting salary dumped for peanuts) is shameful. :scust:

He CHOSE to leave which was his right. Then after he left the Bulls it was dikkriding that got him to the Cavs. He never was traded...

And Riley's regret is exactly why they'll never trade Bam.

I really wanted this initially but I don’t want the last 2 years of that contract tho…that shyt is HORRIBLE…and the payoff would not be worth it…having dame would definitely provide me with a team I’d be more excited watching/rooting for…but it’s not gonna turn the nets into serious contenders tho…makes more sense for miami or philly to go after him
