This is good, Dame made out clean but..

i wouldve pressed him about the Currensy situation

as far as how we portray our own this is a goof example. hes done well and is a standup guy

we should be bigging up dame and people like this instead of looking for small imperfections to hold a microscope to

NOPE

too cool for school answers not flying. having knowledge of him fukking kids, he involved himself in a video promoting a pedophile's music. he even caught himself in that rant-answer "i-i-i-i-had...i was..."

no ceo or bawse is contractually obligated to be in or on the set of a video with an artist. especially one that he has so much moral and ethical beef with. you/dame/whoever DIRECTLY address that or you tryin too hard.

And the song isnt even a jay z song

Fiesta is a R Kelly song :dead:

Yeah, I feel the same way.

Dame has plenty of faults, like we all do, but it's easy to see that he's coming from a real place with it.

I just finished the interview.

He did dance a little with the R. Kelly shyt, but I understood what he was trying to say and where he was coming from with it.

Of course, nikkas that are still tight with Dame over the Breakfast Club interview will use that exchange to try and poke holes in his character, but it is what it is.

I was moreso impressed with the chat they were having before all the industry talk and the fact that Nick held his own with him.

Easy to see that there is a mutual respect between those two because they are alike in a lot of ways.

Two great examples of black men that hustled for everything they got and are now in a position to do/say what they want because they earned that right.

I'm just tired of hearing Dame talk from the perspective of a street hustler, at this point he's been a businessman way longer than he could have ever moved weight...He comes off as the drug dealer who been out the game mad long, but always talking bout what he used to do...

Lol perfect example why I say what I say about Dame. Get these self proclaimed a$$holes away from you. They’re miserable just like Dame is. But atleast Dame has some knowledge to add to bring an a$$hole so he has value. But damn he’s annoying.

Breh, I sold dope for about 4 years of my life, but the lessons I learned from that brief time taught me so much about money, people, and life in general, that I continue to apply to my square life today, and that was like 17 years ago.

Unfortuantely, for our people, at least these last few generations, the dope game was one of the only ways we could experience real economic independence and a sense of ownership.

Once you experience what that feels like, it's very hard to look at life in any way other than through that same lense.

I saw Nick hold his own in other interviews about some REALLY real shyt and I gained ALOT of respect for him. This nikka really KNOWS his shyt and is very well versed and it surprised me that he knew certain shyt I didnt expect him to know. I think he’s more overall knowledgeable than Dame with certain things so im not surprised he held his own. I would rather people give their interviews to him than a nikka like Vlad but people already comin at his neck for asking a question about Jay Z so...

Fair enough....but its part of the reason people look at Dame as washed, cause he can rattle off names of companies he has involvement with, but when he asked about them, he starts comparing it to having the best work on the block and dont really talk about what the hell the actual company does.
