that third of RD is purely sentimental value to Hov. I remember him saying in an interview that all he wanted was the masters to RD, it would collect $100K a year and he'd be straight. He woulda left Roc-A-Fella alone, but Dame felt that album was just as important to him too, so he never attempted to sell his share to Hov.

If Drake does it, fine. Mike outbid his friend for the Beatles catalog and never gave a fukk. Petty or not, having that shyt is worth it, though if I'm Drake, he better be 100% sure he owns his masters to his catalog. Otherwise we're gonna hear Take Care (Drizzy's Version) in a few years.
