For one Dame isn't a stay at home dad obviously if they're separated
Two, a stay at home parent is contributing financially because if they had to work full time as well now you gotta pay for daycare/babysitters, laundry service, ordering take out, maybe even cleaning services and landscaping etc

That's not different all. A stay at home parent who isn't working is an example of a parent not contributing financially. By your logic, there is no other way to help raise a child except for money
If someone doesn't have it in their pockets for whatever reason, should they just abandon their rights and duties as parents in molding their children? Should that parent be banned from being a presence in the kid's life?
