So y'all are saying that no one is fukking with Johnathan Majors after this? No independant distributors, no major streaming platforms? No industry talent, he just out in the cold? According to who?

The point is can Johnathan Majors make his own movie and the answer is: yes he can. I thought that's what the premise of the thread was. The movie doesn't have to cost 15 million. I'm just throwing out numbers and examples. Zendaya and Denzel's son did a movie last year that cost 2.5 mill starring only them. No one ever said he's going to fund a tent pole project but he can crowdfund some small independent project.

My guy, Zendaya and DW son name's a clean (esp the medias darling Zendaya); and did not make money.

Plus, making a movie on a whim because you can't do something else sounds like a career ender. Like if this man creates "WaterWorld" level BS with his small budget and bad name, he's working at Walmart next year.

Movie studios do not do this because of rumors. They usually know more than the police, and DEF more than the media, because too much is on the line, so they hire PI's that can do more digging in, plus have people passing documents and secrets etc. Pro sports (I can confirm NFL and NBA) do this as well, as well as send people out on disguise to follow you in clubs and stuff.

So when stuff hits the media on almost anyone, I know theres more to it, because these weirdos don't care about people, they care about money.

But if someone did something crazy, they will hide as much as they can and move on, unless they are bound by contracts and pre-investments they can't afford to lose (think Ezra Miller)

When multiple people (that KNOW him) are excited that this so-called "weirdo predator" got caught, trust theres some shyt we don't know. And that means, they gotta drop ties either until it blows over, or it comes out.

I disagree but get where you’re coming from, unfortunately it doesn’t work that easily. He hasn’t built a core base that he interacts with like that yet. Not saying it can’t happen. Him saying he’s him will get some looks but I feel you’re greatly overestimating that right now. This is coming from someone who’s been watching him and actively saying he’s going to be the next one. The issue is thus far it’s been built on roles in projects with major backing. Having a core audience is far different. Which is why so many big names can’t do their own thing, meanwhile Joe Smoe on YouTube can make hella cash on a drop cause Joe Smoe has cultivated his base of people.

Not off hand but most of the time when a big name actor does do a small indie project it’s considered a “pet project” for them. Something they aren’t looking to make any significant money off it.
