No normal man could lie about a celeb and his relatively unknown/out of the limelight/calm and relaxed childhood, partner and family friend weren't actually real friends. My OG was the one who introduced Dame and Jay. When Jay came to the block to meet Dame, we were all there, as kids. From that day, those two were together all the time. When they went to get the bread to start the label, and had to drive over to see Haven, only two people went, Dame and Jay. We were all on 140th and 7th before they went to see dude. He and Dame were wild close back then. He didn't grow up with him, but when the ship started moving, if you saw Jay, Dame was with him. It was that way for years. Everybody that was around back then, knows that.

Dame and Jay just always seemed like oil and water from the outside looking in. Sometimes that yin and yang works in a relationship but in most cases it doesn't. Jay seems reserved and calculated, Dame is the exact opposite.

Well, all I know is that aside from DeHaven, all Jay's day one nikkas are still there and all them nikkas is rich. Sometimes you gotta keep your inner circle real tight.

It's the same for both of them.

They basically just stick with their OG crews now. Roc kinda got split in 1/2. Some of them cross over and deal with both Dame and Jay, but the ones that Jay gave jobs to, for the most part, stopped speaking to Dame once they got on payroll. Like Biggs. Before Jay hired him, he wasn't even speaking to Jay. He was in constant contact with Dame, and Dame was helping him financially. Then Jay brought him in, and he stopped speaking to Dame.

There's a lot of weird sh*t going on. But most of us who have stayed cool with both just hope they squash all the nonsense and get back to being good again.
