Cowboys defense was always going to get shredded yesterday but there really was no excuse for the no show their offense had, led by Dak. They went in knowing they likely wouldn't be able to run the ball and would need to get into a shootout. That first drive looked promising for them, including a couple huge plays and they still stalled out in the endzone. Lucky flag bailed Dak out of an INT too. Everything went downhill from there.
Honestly I can't tell if Jerry has too many white boy nerd analysts in his ear telling him running backs don't matter or if he's truly just cheap. This wasn't a "Derick Henry or bust" offseason for RBs. There were plenty of good ones in the draft who could have helped Dallas.

The issue with dak is he is getting paid like the best qb in the league while he is borderline top 10 on a great team he can perform but if the team has areas of liability ie defense then he struggles sometimes to carry the team to the win
