I agree with all of this. The moment I saw Wagner in the McDonalds game, it hit me that he was nice, but not THAT nice. He also didnt have that "it" that Iverson had. You just KNEW Iverson was gonna be nice the moment he stepped foot at Georgetown

this is revealing. I had no idea about the HIV rumors. In theory, couldn't he have sued to league under the ADA then? That would be if he even wanted all of that to come out to the light.

Sad to hear. I remember the hype he had in high school with Tyson Chandler that year. I gave Wagner props for sticking to his commitment to Memphis at the time.

yea it was built for the league....dude was a bigger, stronger, version of iverson with a better jumpshot. I've never seen anyone make the shots he made with that degree of difficulty. Unfortunately he ended up in cleveland with ricky davis and got hurt during his rookie yr. smh

I'll just add that Iverson was LIGHTNING quick. Maybe one of the quickest players ever with the ball in his hands. The comparisons to iverson were because Wagner was a small scoring guard. And, iverson - though never a willing passer - was a much better passer and creator than Wagner.

Wagner was short, stout, and had a solid jumper. He was a good player, but not built for ultimate success in the league worthy of "what if...." I'm glad to see him healthy and living life.

It's a death sentence if he goes off his meds or the meds are no longer available. Granted he's alive but it's more buying time than living. I wonder if Wagner has to have a colostomy bag, I know there are various types of this surgery but the more common one associated with cancer usually means he has a bag attached.

I've known ulcerative colitis to be associated with alot of things, but never HIV, I highly doubt that. Dude def got his colon removed if he has UC though, that illness is a bytch.

I never heard the colitis problem u can get from HIV.. I don't see a connection at all... If the mom had HIV than she would have had a csection when she had the child.. The virus doesn't cross the placenta... What's horrible Is the mother has a csection and the baby is born healthy only to give the child HIV by breast milk
