Maggie from TWD has been my choice since i heard her real voice a few years ago. She already has the British accent even though she was born in NJ and she has the perfect look if you base it off of current Lara Kroft...

She was born for the role.

As much as I liked her in the Star Wars movie, she really wasn't the most convincing action heroine to ever appear on screen. Plus she looks 12...Lara Croft is supposed to be a worldly and cultured adventurer.

They'll probably base it on the reboot where we see how young Lara becomes that adventurer.

nikkas in here more concerned about Cosplay than fukking acting...dummies:snoop:

This to times a thousand.

I don't really care about this franchise so I could care less, but a few thoughts:

1. I don't find Daisy Ridley attractive in the slightest.

2. Based on the new video games and in this possible post-feminist world we're living in, it makes sense that they'd choose a lean bodied ass kicker over a chesty, barely can act, gonna have to have a stunt double for basic action scenes "actress"

3. If The Coli casted some of the things they wished they'd did, they'd look and feel more like porn parodies than movies

Watching
script and director is more important. Angelina is a good actress, chesty :shaq: did a lot of her own stunts and her's were :manny: meh

So they are going the Young Indiana Jones route? If so then Ridley isn't the worst choice.

Pretty much. In the game Lara is just out of college researching her father's life work with a small team. They get stranded on an island and her team is kidnapped by a religious cult so she has to fend for herself on the island and that's how Lara hardens into becoming the survivor/adventurer we know her as.

She wasn't kicking anyone's ass straight up either. She caught more fades than a HBCU barbershop.

Naw, the new reboot Lara Croft (as a character) is weak. The Tomb Raider games though, are great.
