first (and only) time I played Guitar Hero, I played for a minute, then stopped and looked at this magazine, and that shyt was breathing like I ate acid :heh:

I never personally had issues with VR, but I've heard of people being fuct up all day because of 'VR sickness'. I do get headaches from some modern 3D movies

all these things fool your brain into thinking it's seeing depth, motion, etc. there can be side effects, and it seems to vary from person to person, similar to various forms of motion sickness

I played Resident Evil 7 non-stop for days in PSVR. Didn’t experience any side effects other than some nausea after extended periods. I’m not saying it’s not possible at all, but for me, I disagree with the op 100%. For VR to hit mainstream they have to figure out how to remove the element of nausea 100% of the time and lower the cost of entry. I hated on vr nonstop and have become one of its biggest advocates after using it myself. It’s an experience that can’t be explained properly for you to appreciate it.
next gen VR needs to have a wider field of view and a substantial resolution bump though.
Why you talking like if most people haven't experienced vr before psvr :stopitslime: we all know it's your first time. Some of us been vr gaming since the 90's.

We get it grandpa. You used to do a lot of things. Now you sit from the side lines and comment with a cool glass of Metamucil about the good ole days and how you know more than those that actually own the stuff you comment on. This ain’t 90’s VR baby. Take an Uber to my crib and I’ll show you the future.

I've used an oculus on PC on many o'cac's, I was gonna say your version of vr is comparable to the arcade joints from yesteryear :smugbiden:

As for sitting on sidelines, last month I got that completinist award in gamepass. You a sideline gamer tho so you'll have to Google it to even know. When you ready to meet up in the gulag so you can catch this fade :birdman:

Personally, I think VR can grow now... especially due to this pandemic.

However, I feel like I would rather AR take off instead, because while it may be more equipment and setting up, from a user experience, I think that would be more comfortable than a VR set
