“While our study did not differentiate between methods of cannabis consumption, cannabis is most commonly consumed by smoking,” Kokot said in an email. “The association we found likely pertains mainly to smoked cannabis.”

I keep telling mafukkas, there is no type of smoke that is positive for the body. Smoking anything will have negative consequences.

So it isn't marijuana, it's the smoke? They don't say.. :jbhmm:

I’ve been smoking weed daily for the last 12 years and I’m confident in saying I look and am in better shape than 98% of people between the ages of 25-33. I share my running habits here often.
Eh maybe I'm different. But I've done boxing, and I would compare that activity to running. I had a point I didn't smoke and occasionally did an edible on the weekend and I was normal. I smoke one weekend, tried to go to a class the next day and my stanmina was fukking trash. Maybe some folks are lucky but nah, for me that shyt fukked up my performance.

I can't imagine that people who smoke aren't performing at a lower baseline. Saw a study that smoking weed causes more lung resistance consistently in atlethes which made it where they had to work harder to breath and tired quicker

No disrespect in my comment but logic should tell you that you would perform better if you wouldn’t have smoke penetrate your lungs. My mile times would be better if I didn’t smoke which I’m aware.

That doesn’t change the fact I can still accomplish my goals as someone who smokes for other benefits. I can average a sub 9 mile running four -five miles straight. It would probably be a sub 8 if I didn’t smoke.
