Honestly I was dating her best friend. We met that way. My ex broke up with me but we all remained cool. A couple years pass and me and her remain good friends but eventually start feeling each other more. She was hesistant to go forward with it because i dated her best friend (my ex). The ex out of the blue suggests that we start dating. We did and it moved forward from there. My wife and my ex are still really good friends.

We've been friends for 8 years dated for 3 and married for 1. We have a podcast about our married life.

I know of a story very similar. A friend suggested her best friend date her ex and now the ex and best friend are married with a baby. The friends are still very close.
