Christmas 2001 (when I was 10) I got a new boom box, Aaliyah CD to go with it, Barbie stuff, and a few outfits.

I thought I was spoiled then. I should have been born a couple decades later.

I asked my parents for a Nintendo 64 and they told me that I was going to get it. I went around the entire school telling everyone that I was getting a Nintendo 64. I never did get it. It left with me with 2 learning experiences: don’t be talkative, and don’t expect shyt from no one.

While I’m not really entertaining the list, my children are always given what they really want during the holiday season.
