RIP Charmander RIP Kobe
This gonna distract us? He gonna finish out the playoffs?
I would've gladly taken miami if it meant an opportunity to meet those teams in the 2nd round.
No, I'm saying this is why I preferred to play miami in round 1 (if we were 3 and they were 6 seed). Indy and Toronto looks like an easier path
So miami better than cleveland?Breh we wouldn't have gotten past Miami in the first round
You can't look ahead without beating the team in front of you and this Hawks team isn't beating this Heat team
So miami better than cleveland?
By your logic we should get swept by the cavs next round. That's not a goal for usBreh if your scenario was on us playing Miami in the first round being a better opportunity for us to advance I got news for you breh: we were never going to get past Miami in ANY series. If you would've preferred to lose in the first round so be it
To answer your question, no not quite. But are they just about as talented? They're damn close and a lot closer to them than us.

I don't look at getting out the first round as a goal. I want the path that gives me the best shot at a championship. Miami WILL be easier than cleveland for us, that's not arguable. Even if you think we won't beat them, at least we have a shot.
Indy or Toronto in the 2nd>cavs in the 2nd
Man we wouldn't lose to miami in the 1st round. It is not a given brehThe goal for the organization should be to advance. Playing a Miami team that could/would beat you in the first round isn't the goal either even if that opponent is "easier" than Cleveland. I'd rather get to the second round than possibly get beat in the first round, especially after coming off a ECF appearance

You have no faith in this team lol
OK nastradamus. Agree to disagree. I think we beat any team except cavs, spurs, and warriors. And even in those matchups with a little luck ya never knowI have faith in this team, but I'm not blind. Miami isn't a good matchup for us, same way CLE isnt. I'd be fine with us playing any other team in the East except those 2 b/c of the matchup problems both teams present. shyt I was watching the Hawks live pre game before the WAS game on Wed & both Andre & Stinger (both known Hawks homers) went out of their way to say they hoped we wouldn't see Miami in the first round. You think I'm being negative but I'm being real. Miami would've been a 6 game series L for us

You're holding the 1st half of the season against them. The 2016 hawks better than the 2015 hawks brehIn the East everybody not named CLE or Miami is fair game. Couldn't see us beat GS, SA, OKC and LAC would be really tough. This team took a step back this yr I'm not as high on them as some of #Set brehs are and I think we're in for a long series with BOS even without seeing Avery Bradley again

The longer we are in the playoffs, the more chance we have of catching a lucky break
Really holding November and december aginst them? That's a bit much when this rotation was completely different. Holding an injured portion of the season against teague when he has been hot for the past month? It's all about who's hot late breh.Nah I'm taking the entire season into account. At the end of the day this team won 12 less games, Teague wasn't as consistent, bench took more than half the season to find itself, Korver's done, etc. These Hawks finished the season stronger than last yr, but that was out of necessity. I hope we can get past BOS and can compete with CLE...off season might get spooky if we don't
