Right. We gotta do everything in our power to avoid them, not only did they beat us 3-1 in the reg season but they're more talented & deeper than us. I don't think we'd get swept but we'd lose in 6

Lesser of 2 evils. Rather be 3 vs 6 and face miami and not have to see cleveland until ECF > being 4 vs 5 and facing Charlotte but facing cleveland in the 2nd round

We all rather avoid miami but I'm for it if it means avoiding cleveland

OK we know they are the toughest of the 3 potential 1st round matchups. But let's not act like they are some juggernaut. They struggled vs Orlando the other night and barely beat Detroit last night. I'm confident vs any east team not named the raptors or cavs

Styles make fights. Look at how Miami matches up with us not how they've lost to ORL or DET.

They'd give us hell in the backcourt and on the wings (Dragic, Wade, Joe, Richardson, Deng) and even without Bosh Whiteside would give us problems in the front court. I think there are specific matchups we could exploit, but overall It's just not a good matchup for us

I get what your saying. Thus team on paper looks great. I think Whiteside is their edge but he can easily be taken off his game. Deng and Richardson are my biggest concerns but they are no more of a thorn in our side than Lin and Marvin williams can be. If we play like we've been playing I'm confident bro. And listen I kno a lot of that Miami team is young & untested. A lot of them have never played in the playoffs. I trust Bud over Spo and if we have HCA that could give us an edge. But I've always been of the belief that in the NBA playoffs the better team wins a best of 7 series and looking at their roster vs. ours they've got a better roster. Lin & Marvin Williams don't concern me to the degree Deng & Richardson do. We're a better team than Charlotte & Boston and I feel confident we'd beat them in a 7 game series. I'd even be somewhat confident vs. TOR too, I think we can matchup well vs. them in the front court, but MIA & CLE are our two worst matchups in the East

Why would we want to see Miami in the first round? I'm not understanding why some of y'all see that as a favorable matchup for us

If CLE plays MIA it could get interesting, those are the two best rosters in the East.

Al resigning almost seems like a foregone conclusion, he'll get the biggest deal to resign and be the core part of a consistent winner. I'd be shocked if he left

It is a forgone conclusion if we make it to the 2nd round and lose to a clearly better team and we say, we just need a SF and we can play with Cleveland but an L in the 1st round tho...
