I think Dennis and Teague gonna clash before the year is out. Dennis knows he's better than Teague. I heard Bod and Nique talking about a conversation with Schroeder and Dennis said something to the effect, "I hope Teague follows the tone I set when I come out of the game" :francis:

Anybody else heard this?

Yeah he said. I have to follow the tone Teague has set when he comes out of the game, and he has to follow the tone I set when I come out of the game.

Of course the ATL
Millsap is my favorite player but he's been shaky

Millsap is limited in what he can do. If he's your third wheel and can kind of get his shot in the flow of the offense cool, but if he has to create or break down the defense off the dribble he and your team will struggle in that role. Him as our best player is troubling because he can't do what a traditional #1 scoring option has to be able to do

You right but at the end of the day, Dennis got that superstar talent. He's the one player on the squad that can take us really far as a franchise. Bud developed the shyt out of him.

Just got back to the crib. From my vantage point the game was great, playoff atmosphere as it always is when a marquee player/team comes to town.

I was also choppin it up with a lifelong Warriors fan seated in front of me. He was telling me early on Barbosa and Speights were the guys to attack. We did a great job of exploiting them. That run in the late 3rd-early 4th was because those two guys were in. Schroder, THJ, and Horford feasted. It also coincided with Steph being out too lol

But this team has to play this hard MORE. I know it's not going to happen all 82, but there are games that should've been won off effort alone. We need Schro playing like that EVERY game, we need THJ to get Bazemore's minutes like somebody said a couple pages back. I know it's one game, but hopefully Bud shakes things up after the strong performances.

I cited those guard stats against GSW and our PGs showed up tonight, we had poor showings from Korver and Bazemore.

Watching this game officially makes me want to coach basketball now. I've toyed with it and have had the opportunity (my uncle runs a well known league), but I'm I'm preliminarily putting my name into coaching word to Lebron. Seeing some of our defensive lapses were so got damn frustrating. You can't collapse on the penetration against Golden State team, because they'll ALWAYS have a shooter in the corner. They had to have double digit WIDE OPEN corner 3 attempts. We gave up 2nd chance opportunities, and I felt like they didn't isolate Bogut enough.

Korver can't get free anymore, they tried numerous screens, picks at every point on the floor and they couldn't find him. It's just not working. Bazemore is seeing his minutes going down, he's just not a good fit for this offense and doesn't read this offense well. THJR will continue to eat minutes but he has got to have a clue as to what's goin on defensively, he looked clueless on a few possessions late in the third when we got it close and he gave up lay ups and wide open looks b/c he wasn't paying attention

We competed tonight so I'm not mad at the effort, but we just aren't a good team right now and we need more than effort to beat teams like GSW

In all fairness to Hardaway Jr, GSW offense confuses a lot of players in the NBA
