Just got back to the crib. From my vantage point the game was great, playoff atmosphere as it always is when a marquee player/team comes to town.
I was also choppin it up with a lifelong Warriors fan seated in front of me. He was telling me early on Barbosa and Speights were the guys to attack. We did a great job of exploiting them. That run in the late 3rd-early 4th was because those two guys were in. Schroder, THJ, and Horford feasted. It also coincided with Steph being out too lol
But this team has to play this hard MORE. I know it's not going to happen all 82, but there are games that should've been won off effort alone. We need Schro playing like that EVERY game, we need THJ to get Bazemore's minutes like somebody said a couple pages back. I know it's one game, but hopefully Bud shakes things up after the strong performances.
I cited those guard stats against GSW and our PGs showed up tonight, we had poor showings from Korver and Bazemore.
Watching this game officially makes me want to coach basketball now. I've toyed with it and have had the opportunity (my uncle runs a well known league), but I'm I'm preliminarily putting my name into coaching word to Lebron. Seeing some of our defensive lapses were so got damn frustrating. You can't collapse on the penetration against Golden State team, because they'll ALWAYS have a shooter in the corner. They had to have double digit WIDE OPEN corner 3 attempts. We gave up 2nd chance opportunities, and I felt like they didn't isolate Bogut enough.
