I will say it like this...as much as I love that east coast NY lyrical in your face boom bap and once held the stance of being a "underground hip-hop is dope/mainstream is wack" devotee...songs like these are just much more hype and entertaining to me than alot of that stuff.
I guess this is why I removed myself from that ignorant school of thought. When it comes down to it, I love riding in phat cars with the bass turnt up, smoking bomb tree, fine ass girls with big booties, partying hard, looking fresh and fly, and having money and all of these songs personify that personal aesthetic for me to a tee. Which is why I like listening to this and a lot more southern/midwestern rap now more than NY/East coast stuff now. Funny how that happened.
