title wise, he thought it up because he was watching searching for bobby fisher then his manager put on a Jerry Garcia doc.

haven't listened to the album in a while, but IIRC, it does tie in the theme in general
I thought it was just simply because he was a stoner

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
There were a lot of good tracks on that album that I remember liking back in the day. "shyt Can Happen" "Pistol, Pistol" "Instigator" "Fight Music" "American Psycho" "Word Are Weapons" "shyt On You" and "Revelation" off the top of my head were good. Granted I haven't listened to the album in like 18 years so a lot can change. I remember there was an album cut of Kazaa back in the day of the album without any Bizarre verses on it. :russ: He did occasionally make me laugh though.

"Eminem doesn't like Nsync / Well I do / So fukk him and the Backstreet Boys too :pacspit:"

We can still clown EM here.

D12 should have been alot bigger but em didn't seem to care about the group after the first album.

Obie trice also should have been bigger but just like d12, Em didn't seem to care after his first album.
Obie's first album was pretty dope. It had a lot of guest appearances on it, but it was pretty solid from front to back. I never really checked for him after that. There's a few cuts from Cheers that I still listen to this very day. :ehh:

Getting tired of this shyt with these shady/eminem re releases...why on earth can they not throw a few unheard/unreleased songs from this era? Im sure there are dozens and dozens of album leftovers. Jeez....even some alternate versions of songs ive already heard would be huge and peak my interest.

Didn’t Proof also produce a little bit?

:patrice:real talk Im not sure how much he did beat wise or if anything at all. A lot of his soundscape work pre D 12 was handled by Dilla. Even during the shady phase he worked with specific local cats. I wouldnt be surprised if he dabbled a bit here and there messing with Dilla and Porter. I know he had issues with his pops, but he is a unsung legend too with the production/musicianship.

I heard a crazy story that Proof’s dad was one of my musicians that played on the song that was sampled for Proof’s most famous solo joint, Kurt Kobain. Apparently, the producer didn’t know that when he made it. So in a round about way, Proof and his dad are kind of collaborating here.

Proof always had this unpolished Method Man vibe about him that I liked. I always wondered if he could've beat the stigma of being Eminem's hypeman. It's a shame that his life came to an end over a pool game dispute.

And NONE of us have heard the album leftovers in the vault. They are just sitting there collecting dust, not making anyone any money. Hell....Em should pull a Nas and drop a Lost Tapes album. 12 unheard songs from 1999-2003. It would be his best album since TES
