His music was wayy too Kendrick for me but hes talented
mD Smoke is talented. As far as competing with the others, I feel like he had an advantage. The show makes no mention of D Smoke being the brother of a TDE artist...makes you look at his Kendrick Lamar esque performance and think. I actually wonder if he talked to that nikka between challenges
That is a little strange, you think he already met sounwave before
The finale performances were nice though, he is very talented

D smoke is clearly multi talented. But damn I'm conflicted with these scripted reality shows. He has industry connects. Did Smoke really need this show? Like he's too talented for all this. This show seemed like it was made for Smoke to win. Like, it was scripted for him to win. The other contestants were talented. But clearly they weren't on smoke level. Reality TV is weird. Smoke connected to Kendrick, TDE and he's SiR's breh. Why is he here? You can do it without this show. Industry Plant weirdness. As overused as that term is.....

I know Smoke. Have for a while. He's been trying to get on for years and now it seems like it's finally paying off for him. Regardless if you think he's a plant or not, I know he's been paying his dues for a LOOOONG time. Sometimes your number just gets called and you run with it. Props to breh...

Reality TV is weird. Dsmoke didn't really need all this. At best this show was free promo. shyt goes viral daily. These scripted ass "reality" competions are weird. I don't see the point besided promotion....

He’s 33.. nobody ever heard of him until this show.. you make no sense bruh
I loved the show and all of the final contestants but this was clearly scripted for D Smoke to win. shyt was basically a TDE promo run under the guise of a competition. In the last episode Cardi, Chance & TI even said it’s his competition to lose.

At one point they were pretty much rubbing it in our face. After his final performance (btw the 2nd part sounded damn near identical to These Walls by Kendrick) Cardi said he was so good she’s going to call Kendrick
Brother is super talented, loved his message (though I think Flawless was clearly better, dude KILLED the battle rap and R&B collab, and his final performance was the most personal) but if anyone is an industry plant it’s this dude.
