No one has been able to exPlain to me how rose isn't a PG. Thats the position he plays
Let's be real people just see High assist numbers from rondo and think he's some god when in reality the it's not having an impact because the celtics offense still sucks. They've won this year because of their number one defense when some nights their offense can't score 90 points...
Look at chris Paul, first year with no real training, camp new teammates, but has the clippers as the 4th ranked offense(from 22nd last year).

So Derrick Rose is a better shooter? Ok. That's the only thing he does better and neither one of them can shoot. Rose is better but it's not like he's an assassin.
Rondo is a better penetrator, distributor, defender, rebounder, and he's tougher.

His high APG is misleading.
KG and Allen can't create their own shots. His high APG is misleading only in that it doesn't show just how important he is. You just illustrated how bad their offense is, that just means they really need his assists.
All true, but what I'm saying is Rose's MASSIVE advantage as shooter and scorer makes him a more valuable offensive player and it negates the advantages that rondo has in other areas.
It seems like some of y'all nikkaz would take Gary payton over magic, because of his defense.
When I judge a PG, I judge him on how good he is as an offensive player,how he runs a offense, and how well he makes his teammates better.
Magic is my GOAT PG because no one made his teammates better them him and no one ran better offenses
Rondo lead the Cs to a ship? Paul Pierce won Finals MVP, KG was punking Pau and the Lakers front line, and Ray Allen was solid. Rondo wasn't nearly as good as he is now in that first championship run.

Don't get me wrong, The bulls won a lot of games last year cause of their defense too.

rondo has had a better fg% every season that rose has been in the league, so talking about offensive efficiency and rondo is generally seen thru the illusion that he's still a terrible shooter..if you've been watching rondo this season you would know that hes a better shooter than in years passed..
