Growth is already happening, they are gonna build up everything from campus m downtown all the way down woodward.

There are pockets of poor black along the way that will have to be pushed out the way, but I guess that's the price of growth....

No that's the price for lack of organization. Why is China buying up land in Detroit and not people from there. Those dirt cheap prices for prime downtown real estate will undoubtedly be worth something at some point. It doesn't take a genius to see that if these people didn't buy the land around em they will get pushed out. Suburbs are the new slums and gentrification is sending people back to cities.

I'm a professional person, but I like the feel of Detroit.

I like the professional culture and also the ratchet culture.... Detroit has had the same style to it since the 40's... I really don't want that to go away. Most of the bad shyt is a result of cac justice policies, fake drug wars, failing auto industry, and so many poor blacks w no resources.


Of course u end up with corruption in politics cuz the city shows you to get urs at all cost.

Listen, Detroit is not a luxury city by any stretch of the imagination. It is a city with many people willing to work hard for a living. It is a up north city, with an up north attitude. Work hard, grind, and hopefully save enough money to enjoy yourself on the weekends.

Essentially they are saying that whatever the previous people in Detroit built is not worth saving, wipe it from existence and start from scratch. I am willing to bet that fixing those abandoned properties has to cost less than $8,500 on average.

Actually it would cost 5 times as much to fix those properties. Breh you talking about non winterized abandoned homes that are probably mold infested, water damaged and structurally cracked. I personally say wipe it from existence and start from scratch. In order to create industry you must first make it attractive enough for people to want to go there.

No link to give, just from personal experience working on homes. Hell a new roof alone could cost you anywhere from $5,000 to $18,000. To do vinyl siding on the house could range from $6000 to $15,000. We haven't even gone into interior repairs yet breh and we already at double the price to demolish it. Home renovations are not cheap and just because you bought a home cheap doesn't mean it's gonna be cheap to repair it.

Hey There are usually only a few homes in every neighborhood that aren't saveable. Fixing the Good homes makes the area more profitable and valuable in the long run. Look at the nice areas up woodward. Huge homes, Magnificent architecture that simply doesn't exist today - which is the reason CAC would damn near kill someone to get a hold of one of those. Those aren't being torn down, u drive by and at first look it looks abandoned....... At second look you notice new windows n shyt - you can tell someone is saving it and buying their time until Gentrification is complete and

I had someone come fix up one of my homes last year , this nikka was like whatever about it. But I had a real contractor come do some shyt like 2 years ago - This Fat white dude keep talking about the wood, and this and that and all this BS that I don't even know about.

We aren't talking about trying to save every house on the East side off Graitot. They are talking 80K homes!! lol, there isn't that much garbage. IT is disrespectful and a quick cheap superficial fix.

It hurts everyone in the end. The subs are str8 slums.... I don't see how people bought into that bullshyt... 500 dollars for a 2 bedroom just to attract nikkas away from midtown and downtown.

lol, I do remember as a kid, girls went from Rat Bish to uppity bish the moment their parents had the money to move to crappy southfield.

The kids of the original white flight are moving back inside now and are eating good. Doing tours n shyt of building downtowns.
The only highlight is :

There is so many black people here... Detroit lost population but most didn't go far -so all the buildings and places still have 2-15% black people. At companies, in neighborhoods... so it won't be completely non black. And most of the professional blacks, minus a few c00ns..... are conscious.

after traveling around america Detroit has some of the best architecture, unique buildings and homes
its a damn shame nobody appreciated it
