You could see this unhinged Bryan dying to get out on total Bella’s/Talking Smack especially when he’d dig at Cena/Nikki’s lifestyles


I love it because you can’t see thru any of what he’s saying plus his look matches his intent. He’s not there to put smiles on faces, he’s RIGHT no matter how twisted his logic gets.


This should be a fun journey to follow, gives me shades of ECW Mick Foley era and that’s a damn good thing right now when they’re trying to make everything clean cut and neat.

I doubt Road Dogg put that in motion. I think that's a call from the top, maybe even in collaboration with superstars themselves in some cases.

I know a lot of people bytch about heel turns but I have been a huge proponent of turning a lot of people heel simply because it's been shown to work. New Day got over by being heels. Usos turned heel and they were the best team in the E by a large margin in the ring and on the mic. Sami Zayn turned heel and had a much better time on SD Live than he ever did on Raw. Jason Jordan was teasing a turn and it probably could've worked decently for him in the same vein as New Day where you still present yourself like a face but then do heel shyt to win, the only thing is the nikka talks like a fukkin square. Becky turned heel and set the whole damn industry on fire. DB turned heel and has been rocking the strap and going psychovegan for a month now. Heels really make this shyt go round. The crowds don't truly care for face vs heel dynamics these days like they did before. They'll cheer for heel tactics from people they like before giving a shyt about a face turn.

They dont book strong faces. Everyone used to care about Bryan, the Rebel, AJ Lee, Sasha, Cesaro, Paige...they didnt need any heel turns.

Movies are watched with a suspension of disbelief, when you watch The Godfather Pacino doesn’t break character and look into the camera to wink to the audience then goes back to his monologue

Play fighting used to be the same but the now marks are FAKE booing because they feel they need to because the story dictates it. Before fans would boo the play fighter because they suspended their disbelief enough to actually want the face to go over, just like someone cheering for Rocky when watching a movie.
