If people knew WHY she is specifically making the point to use LaVar and Shannon, more folks would simply say, “She’s not lying” and keep it pushing. So here is the subtext:
When Umar got ambushed on Roland Martin’s show a few months back, the one sensible panel member made a reference to a quote his mother told him during the civil rights era. It was to the affect that you can’t sleep with your oppressor and then wake up and fight against them only to return to them the next night.
Cynthia has been using that as a driving point when discussing IR dating and relationships for awhile now because she genuinely believes it and historically, there’s a good amount of evidence to support having that belief.
NOW, in context, according to her and her commentary she is not a proponent of IR dating period in any capacity. There is no gray area of, “I’ll let this slide as acceptable” scenario when it comes to BM and BW to her because it is not conducive to black folks gaining actual liberation. Her point is simply the hypocrisy of denouncing BW who swirl is much more vitriolic than it is for BM who especially are seen as “being down” or “pro-black”. Beyond that she’s pointing out the nuances involved and albet she was off the mark about Shannon’s past, she’s spot on about Halle and Serena. I’ve never seen LB’s previous mates but we do know that he’s at least dedicated to one WW so meh.
Cynthia does come under attack ALOT for making the simplest of observations mainly when it’s in reference to BM. As she calls the attackers, “Beta male c00ns” one can’t help but assess, based on the frequency of the attacks, she’s striking a nerve because only hit dogs holler. If youre not one of the people she’s talking about or display the characteristics of the actual examples she uses to support her argument, why be pressed?
For the record, I listen to her and sensi and they both make great points. Cynthia just posts with more frequency otherwise, I’d check for Sensi first always.
Btw. I’m a BM married to a BW with a black child and wouldn’t dare lay up with any other race ever cause I love us too much and want us to be well represented long after I’m gone.
Oh for real??!!! I been told nikkas on this forum throughout this year that literally every other video she puts out, she is whining about Black Men in IRR. Meanwhile she makes excuses for wenches/swirlers. The Cynthia G male stans on this forum ain't trying to hear that though.
