Iron Man would probably take it, but Cyclops is still that dude and I seriously doubt he'd go down without a fight. He's turned countless losing battles around into complete victories, and has been proven capable of outsmarting and ethering his entire team on more than one occasion. He's seriously underrated as a strategist.

They're just trying not to give the X-men too much shine since they don't own the movie rights.
