In a departure from the usual position of Republicans and the wishes of the oil and natural gas industry, the GOP nominee for president said he thinks voters should be able to ban fracking at the state and local level, despite his personal support for the practice.
“I’m in favor of fracking, but I think that voters should have a big say in it,” Trump told Denver television station KUSA in an interview, a portion of which was posted Friday. “I mean, there’s some areas, maybe, they don’t want to have fracking. And I think if the voters are voting for it, that’s up to them.”

Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe is rooting for a Trump presidencyUS lawmakers Chris c00ns and Adam Schiff were visiting the southern African country to discuss wildlife trafficking when a request for a meeting with the interior minister turned into a sit down with the president, according to an interview with Politico this week.
According to c00ns and Schiff, the discussion turned tense when Mugabe asked why the US insists on sanctioning Zimbabwe. The senators and their delegation listed reasons why the sanctions have remained in place—the US has sanctioned the country since 2002 after reports of election abuse and human rights violations. Mugabe has held on to power by repressing his rivals as well as the public.
After an awkward silence, Mugabe said, “Once [Trump] is your president, you’ll wish you’d been friendlier to me,” according to c00ns’ retelling of the encounter.
Tim Kaine under scrutiny for abortion comment - CNNPolitics.comHillary Clinton's running mate, Tim Kaine, sparked confusion Friday after saying he supports the anti-abortion Hyde Amendment and the Clinton campaign's call to repeal the measure.
"I have been for the Hyde Amendment. And I have not changed my position on that," Kaine said Friday on CNN's "New Day."
Kaine's anti-abortion stance has been a sticking point for many liberal Democrats concerned that he might work against Clinton on the issue. But Karen Finney, a senior Clinton campaign spokeswoman who is also working with Kaine, said he would keep his personal views but also support a repeal of the Hyde Amendment, which bans federal funds for abortion.
Such a non-story, he's just the VP, doesn't have much say. If you're more for freedom, choose what to do with your own body, that's the Dems, since the Repubs want to overturn Roe v. Wade.
This just shows what a fraud Trump is, just tweeted this, when in the other thread I posted the debate schedule. Which was announced Sept of last year. You can tell he's already getting nervous about the debates. Probably one of the softest candidates we've had in awhile, already getting the excuses ready for his upcoming loss. You'll hear a lot of "rigged" and "unfair", the usual crying Trump does. Never takes responsibility for a loss, like the ratings loss he took, blamed the GOP.
